Content is King joins forces with Firefly Digital to offer integrated video and digital offering

New strategic partnership will deliver ‘communications for the continuously connected’.

Content is King, the video content agency, has forged a strategic alignment with digital agency, Firefly, to provide a fully integrated video and digital offering.

The companies say they have made the decision following increased demand for an integrated video and digital service, with millennials set to dominate the workforce by 2020, and brands increasingly aware of the need for seamless digital campaigns. The video streaming market was worth $138.99Bn in 2018 and is predicted to grow to $591.11Bn by 2028, as businesses further optimise and personalise user experience to increase engagement, drive sales and boost their bottom lines.

Founded in 2000, Content is King was one of the first companies dedicated to producing online videos for brands, creating some of the earliest web documentaries and celebrity interviews for the likes of WHSmith Online. The business has remained a leader in the industry, continuously innovating with new formats and technologies, including animation, documentary and interactive live-streaming.

Firefly Digital was set up in 2010, specialising in the design and development of websites, digital applications, ecommerce and email marketing, providing innovative and robust digital solutions across a wide range of sectors.

While the two companies will remain structurally independent, the alliance means they will operate as one group for pitching and executing integrated campaigns. Core services will include delivering websites, microsites and apps with video content incorporated, as well as video campaigns and live streaming, where digital is fully integrated from day one. Firefly Digital also brings its digital marketing expertise to the mix, for the effective promotion and evaluation of campaigns.

The partnership has already collaborated on a number of high-profile projects for multinational companies, including streaming product innovation announcements, senior executive team messages, and sponsorship activation from events at locations such as The Saatchi Gallery and Milan Design Week - all reaching global audiences.
